Officers from the Westport Police Department were dispatched to a business on Main Street on Wednesday, May 23, when an employee at the store reported that two men had entered the location, stole bedding items and took off without paying.

Police said that employees at the store were able to offer a description of the suspects and the vehicle they drove off in, and two men - Brooklyn residents Petro Osipov and Igor Andruykhin - were quickly tracked down in the vehicle a short distance away, with the stolen merchandise in the car.

Osipov and Andruykhin were arrested and charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny. Both have since been released on $1,000 bond and are due to appear in Norwalk Court on Wednesday, May 30.
